The congress will bring together approximately 200 Catalan surgeons to debate and share their work and advances in the field of surgery. At the event, Specipig will present both its CRO services specialising in the model pig and the new genetic line of minipigs it is developing with the IRTA. These minipigs, unlike standard ones that can weigh up to 250 kilos, will only reach a maximum weight of 35 kilos, making them easier to handle and house, as well as cutting costs for food and drugs.
